Infra) Structure is an exhibition of artwork in the Lannan Collection examining the notion of structure. Photographs of buildings, train tracks, and internet cables are presented with architectural renderings, dreamed-up gardens, and a model of a make-believe house. Images of monumental land art projects and a drawing of a massive sculpture face a city in miniature and a tabletop askew. Looking at the ways in which artists take structural foundations and record, rearrange, or imagine them anew, (Infra) Structure reminds us of all the wondrous possibilities of human ingenuity.
